Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter(softened)
1 3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup sherry(wine)
2 lbs. cherries(candied) and 1 lb. pineapple(candied)
2-2 1/4 lb nuts
1/2 t. bakng powdered
1/4 t. nutmeg and 1/4 t. cinnamon
2 t. vanilla
7 eggs
3 1/2 cups plain flour

1/2 cups plain flour
Instructions
Cream sugar and butter, then eggs.
Mix spices with flour, add alternately with wine.
Cut nuts and fruit up in bowl, coat with flour.
Mix with batter.
Spoon into a well greased and floured tube cake pan..
Bake at 250 degrees for 3-3 1/2 hrs.
Pour 1/2 cup sherry over cake, while still in pan.
