Bread Pudding with sauce by

Ingredients

2 cup white sugar
5 eggs
2 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 cup cubed bread (allow bread to stale over night)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 cup chopped pecans

for the sauce

1 cup white sugar
1 stick butter melted
1 egg beaten
2 tsp vanilla

Instructions


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Grease 9 X 13 pan
Mix together sugar, eggs and milk, in bowl add vanilla , pour over cubed bread and let set for 10 min
In another bowl mix and crumble together brown sugar, butter and pecans
Pour bread mixture in to pan, sprinkle brown sugar mixture in over the top and bake for 35 min to 45 min or until set, remove from oven.
For the sauce mix together sugar, butter, egg and vanilla in sauce pan over med heat. Stir together until the sugar is melted, stirring well. Pour over bread pudding , serve warm or cold ..enjoy !!!!
