1 lb. ground beef
4 cups raw potatoes, thinly sliced
1/4 cup French fried onion pieces
1 (10.75 oz.) can cheddar cheese soup
1 can milk
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp sugar
1 Tbsp butter
1 pkg (6 oz.) mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions
Brown ground beef until no longer pink; drain.
Place potatoes and onions in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch glass baking dish. Add ground beef. Mix soup with milk and add to ground beef and potatoes, mixing together.
Combine tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar. Pour over the mixture but do not stir. Dot with butter.
Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
Remove cover and place sliced cheese on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and return to oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
