1 (15 oz.) pizza sauce
1 ( 4 oz.) green chilies, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
5 tsp. chili powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook beet until no longer pink, drain.

Transfer to 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
