Indian Fry Bread tacos by

Ingredients
2 C flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 C milk
4 C oil for frying
1 pound seasoned meat...hamburger, beef or chicken or pork
2 C black beans
3 C lettuce
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1 large tomato chopped
toppings: salsa, sour cream, guac

Instructions
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk with wooden spoon and mix until the dough comes together. Add more flour if necessary to be able handle the dough. On a floured surface, knead the dough until smooth, at least 5 minutes. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Heat the oil in a large deep heavy skillet at 375 degrees. Oil should be about 1 1/2 inches deep. Divide dough into 4 to 6 pieces and use a rolling pin to shape into 1/4 inch circles.
Fry breads in the oil until golden on both sides turning only once, drain on paper towels. Top fry bread with meat and toppings.
