Ingredients
vegetable oil
4 med baking potatoes
1 c all-purpose flour
1 beaten egg
1/4 c milk
1 tbs vegetable oil
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c beer

Instructions
1. Heat over to 400.
2. After washing potatoes, rub them with oil.
3. Bake them for 1 hour, or until done.
4. Beating them well, combine the next 5 ingredients.
5. Stir the beer in.
6. Cut the potatoes lengthwise to 4 wedges.\
7. Dip each wedge into the batter, and fry in deep fry.
8. Fry until golden in color.
9. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
Servings: 16
