Ingredients
INGREDIENTS - Makes 18 small truffles
1 1/2 cups of ground almonds
2 tbs of raw cacao butter
2 tbs of virgin cold pressed coconut oil
2 tbs of raw cacao powder
1 tbs of Açaí powder
3-4 tbs of coconut nectar, maple syrup or honey
1 tsp of organic vanilla extract
Extra cacao for dusting
1
1/2 cups of ground almonds
2
tbs of raw cacao butter
2
tbs of virgin cold pressed coconut oil
2
tbs of raw cacao powder
1
tbs of Açaí powder
3
-4 tbs of coconut nectar, maple syrup or honey
1 tsp
of organic vanilla extract
Instructions
Place all of your ingredients except for the coconut oil and cacao butter into a food processor or blender. Pulse gently to combine.
In a small sauce pan, gently melt your cacao butter and coconut oil and add to your food processor or blender with the other ingredients and process or blend until a slightly sticky mixture has formed.
Line a tray with baking paper and mould your mixture into teaspoon sized truffles. You should end up with 18 or so. Feel free to make them slightly larger too.
Dust your truffles with the extra cacao powder. They look quite sweet with the tops dusted, but I chose to roll them round so they were coated in cacao. These are seriously more-ish, which is okay, we made them small so you can eat more than one!
