1 - 16 oz. package of Oreo Cookies (350 gr. package or 30 cookies)

4 Cups of Large Marshmallows well packed
(about 38 to 40 marshmallows depending on the brand you use).

1/4 Cup of Butter.

Prepare a buttered 8 x 8 pan.

Grind up the Oreo cookies in a food processor or in small amounts in a blender. If you don't have either of these machines then place the cookies in a plastic freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin.

Melt the butter in a large pot on a very low heat, when butter is melted start adding the marshmallows and raise the heat to a medium level. Do not leave the pot and stir constantly until all the marshmallows are melted.

When the marshmallows are all melted add the cookie crumbs to it. Working quickly put the mixture into the buttered pan to set.



Let the cookies set for about 20 minutes and while they are still pliable cut them into 9 squares. With clean hands mold the squares so they have rounded corners and place these into the refrigerator to become a bit more firm. These are a soft, sticky cookie that is chewy to eat.


Wrap each one individually with cling wrap so the seam of the cling wrap is on the bottom unseen and then wrap a red ribbon around then present style.
