Ingredients
2Tblsp. vegetable oil
1 3 lb. chicken
1 Large onion, quartered and sliced
2 Tblsp. garlic minced
1/3 cup white vinegar
2/3 cup soy sauce
1 Tblsp garlic powder
2 tasp. black pepper
1 bay leaf

Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil over medium high heat. Cook chicken pieceses until golden brown on both sides, then remove. Stir in the onion and garlic cooked til they soften and brown about 6 minutes.
Pour in vinegar, soy sauce, and season with garlic powder, blackk peppe and bay leaf. Add the browned chicken , increase the heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce hear to medium low, cofer and siiner til the chicken is tender and cooed, k35 - 40 minutes.
