Ingredients
Use strong brewed coffee
1 c. espresso (or strong coffee)
1 c. sugar
2 c. vodka
½ vanilla bean, split lengthwise
Instructions
Make a fresh brew of espresso or strong coffee of a similar type. After cooling, add sugar, vanilla bean and vodka to the coffee. Transfer to bottle and store, covered in cool dry place. After 2-4 weeks, strain liquer into new bottle, removing the vanilla bean.
(Tip: Use ½ c. brandy and ½ c. vodka for a slightly different flavor.)
