Mac'n'Cheese by

Ingredients

400g macaroni
6 - 8 slices of streaky bacon
1 large onion - chopped
breadcrumbs
cheese
3 cups of milk
3 tblsp flour
2 tblsp butter
Salt & pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180*c fanbake

Cook macaroni in a pot until ready, and use cold water to cool it down once finished cooking.

Chop bacon and onion, add to a hot pan and cook until the onion has softened and bacon if ready

Melt butter in a large class vessel (measuring jug will do) in the microwave. Add flour and stir till mixed. Add salt and pepper as per preference. Slowly add the milk to the mixture, stirring constantly to prevent any lumps. Microwave for 3 mins, stir, microwave for two minutes, stir, add however much cheese you would like, then keep microwaving for 1 min and stirring until the sauce has thickened acceptably

Mix bacon, onion, sauce and macaroni in a baking dish, mix together and spread out evenly. Coat the top with breadcrumbs then sprinkle your remaining cheese above. Cook in oven for 18 - 20 mins or until the cheese has browned
