Vanilla Wafer Cake by

Grandmama said she only cooked hers for 11/2 hours. She said we could try it both ways and see which we liked the best. I'll take her word for it!

Ingredients

2 Sticks Butter or Margarine(softened)
2 cups Sugar
6 Eggs
12 ounces vanilla wafers (crushed)
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 teas. baking soda
1-7oz. pkg. angel flake coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk,vanilla wafers, baking soda, coconut, and nuts.

Grease and line(with wax paper)a 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 275 degree for 2 hours.
