Use 4 to 6 pounds brisket trim fat to 1/4 inch. Place in large plastic bag or baking dish. Combine all marinate ingredients in measuring cup. Add enough water to make 2 cups of marinate. Pour over brisket seal or cover tightly for 8 hours or refrigerate over night. Remove brisket and place on baking sheet or in a foil-roasting pan. Pour marinate over brisket and cover with foil and seal tightly. Bake 4 to 5 hours in preheated 275° oven. Remove from pan, reserve pan drippings. Place brisket over medium coals fat side down. Close lid on grill and cook approx. 30 minutes. Use water soaked hickory or mesquite chips for smoky flavor. Mean while skim fat from pan drippings, reheat and serve with brisket.
