Tootsie Roll Brownies (Cathy) by

Ingredients
1 (12oz) pkg caramels
1 can evaporated milk
1 pkg brownie mix
1 egg (if brownie mix requires)
1 c chopped pecans
3/4 c melted butter
1 c miniature Tootsie Rolls
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c Hershey's Kisses

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Melt the caramels and 1/2 c of the evaporated milk over low heat. Keep warm. Stir together the brownie mix, egg (if required), butter, 1/2 c evaporated milk, and nuts. Pour half the batter into a 9/13 greased pan. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Remove pan from oven. Over baked layer, sprinkle with Tootsie Rolls, chocolate chips, and Kisses. Pour remaining batter on top. Pour melted caramels over this. Swirl together with spatula. Bake for 25 minutes; do not over-bake! Do not refrigerate.
