Ingredients
1/2 (1 stick of unsalted butter) softened to room temperature
1 cup of sifted powdered sugar
1/8 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp heavy whipping cream
gel food coloring if desired.

stand mixer and paddle
container to store buttercream if not using right away

(1 stick of unsalted butter) softened to room temperature
1 cup
of sifted powdered sugar
1/8 tsp
of salt
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 tbsp
heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Place butter on your counter top for 45 minutes to soften.
Once soft, beat together butter, and powder sugar until soft 1-2 minutes medium speed.
Scrape down the bowl. Add vanilla and cream beat for 2 minutes. Store in fridge for two days.
