Set out the butter for 45 minutes to soften.
Preheat oven to 375 f
In a small mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt whisk until combined.
In mixing bowl beat butter, brown, and granulated sugar. and vanilla extract until fully combined and creamy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Gradually add in flour, and chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded spoonful's 3" apart on cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes , or until golden brown. cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, remove and cool on cooling racks until fully cool.
