Oreo cookie pops by

Ingredients

Ingredients
One package of double stuffed Oreos

1 Large bag of yellow or orange Wilton's candy melts

1 Teaspoon of Crisco shortening

Large lollipop sticks or cake pop sticks about 24

Parchment paper

2 large flat cookie sheets

a large glass measuring cup that is microwave safe and deep as you need to dip the Oreo cookies in something deep to cover them

One teaspoon

Microwave


Instructions

Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper

Place half of your Wilton candy melts in your large and deep measuring cup and microwave for a minute and stir. Keep microwaving at 30 second intervals to fully melt it. Once melted stir in a teaspoon of shortening to thin it out.

Next take an end of your lollipop or cake pop stick and dip it into the melted candy melt and gently put it into your Oreo cookie. Press the cookie down.
Lay your cookie pops on the cookie sheet and refrigerate them for five minutes or until set. Do this with your remaining Oreo cookies.

Once all are set, re microwave your melts for a minute and stir to thin it out. As it can harden.

Gently dip your Oreo pops into the candy melt to coat the whole thing and pull it up do not twist it. Let the excess drip off , if you want sprinkles add it while the melt has not hardened yet. Repeat the process with the rest of your Oreo cookies.

If needed melt the rest of your candy melts. Let set until hard and store in air tight container for a week.
