Ingredients
1 C. Rye Flour
4 C. Water
2 TBS Crisco
1 TBS Salt
1/4 C. Sugar
3/4 Molasses
2 Package Yeast
White Flour

Instructions
Put yeast and 2 tsp. sugar in 1/2 cup of warm water and let stand. Put rye flour, crisco, salt and sugar in a bowl. Take 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add to above and stir. Add last 2 cups of water cold and stir. Add molasses and then yeast and stir. Add white flour until you can't stir anymore, then use your hands until it is just a little sticky. Cover and let rise. Punch down, knead and rise again. Punch down and put in pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
