Funny story about this recipe, Bonnie Skifstad Clark (Sarea's mom) used coffee grounds instead of cooked coffee the first time she made these cookies. Needless to say, they didn't turn out very good at all!
Ingredients
1 C. Sugar
1 C. Shortening
1 C. Molasses
1 C. Cooked Coffee
2 tsp. Baking Soda
4 C. Flour
2 Eggs
Ginger and Nutmeg

Instructions
Mix all ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes. Let them cool and ice them with the powdered sugar frosting.
