1 C shortening
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 beaten eggs
1 C peanut butter
3 C flour
2 tsp baking soda
dash of salt

1 C shortening 1 C sugar 1 C brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 beaten eggs 1 C peanut butter 3 C flour 2 tsp baking soda

Cream shortening, sugar, and brown sugar. Add vanilla and eggs and beat thoroughly. Mix in peanut butter. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix into peanut butter mixture. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 375* for 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
