Ingredients

1 lb hamburger
1 onion
1-2 tsp minced garlic
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 bag fideo/vermicelli noodles
2 C water
2 cubes Caldo de Tomate bouillon (Knorr)
2 10 oz cans diced tomatoes
4 oz can chopped green chilies

Instructions

Brown meat and add in onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Drain fat and set aside. Boil the water and add the bouillon cubes to make a broth. Heat olive oil, add the noodles and brown them. Add broth, diced tomatoes, and green chilies. Cook for about 15 minutes. Add hamburger and cook for another 10 minutes.

*Can also substitute chicken for the hamburger.
