3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
2 cup
s flour
1
1/2 cups milk
3
tablespoons melted butter
2
tablespoons sugar
1
egg
3
teaspoons baking powder
1
teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar in a bowl. Make a well and add the egg. Whisk well and add melted butter and milk. Whisk until no lumps, a few are ok. Make sure griddle or pan is nice and hot. I usually use a pat of butter and melt it then add about 1/2 cup of batter on top. I actually don't measure but eye ball batter making pancake as big as I want. Cook about 3 minutes each side. Every pan/griddle is different. After about a minute, check the bottom, if nice n brown, flip. Usually there will be little bubbles you can see on top.
Turn oven on warm and place a cookie sheet on rack, as cakes are done, place in oven to keep warm.
If you have kiddies, they like a few sprinkles of chocolate chips in the batter and cook the same way.
