Ingredients
1 package of frozen puff pastry, defrosted
1 egg
1 tablespoon of water
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 cup grated Gruyere
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Roll out each sheet to 10 x 12. Beat the egg with the tablespoon of water and brush the surface of each puff pastry sheet. Sprinkle each sheet evenly with the cheese and herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Lightly press the cheese and herbs into the pastry. Cut each sheet crosswise with a pizza wheel in to 12 strips. Twist each strip and lay it on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silpat. Bake 10-15 minutes. Cool and serve in a tall glass or vase.
