Ingredients
1 tsp butter or ghee (clarified butter)
2 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)
honey (sweeten to taste)
Instructions
In a small sauce pan over low heat, melt the butter.
Add the turmeric and other spices; mixture will form a thick paste.
(keep the heat low so it does not burn)
If the paste becomes too thick, you may add water, by the tablespoon.
Heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Whisk in 2 cups of milk, and continue to gently warm for 5-8 minutes or until milk is steaming hot, but not boiling.
Pour into a mug, sweeten with honey to your taste and enjoy.
