Meringue Cookies by Ashley Kinard

Ingredients

1/2 cup natural honey 2 egg whites 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional) or other flavors

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 225°F.
2. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake 40-45 minutes or until firm to the touch.
4. Turn off oven (do not open oven door); leave meringues in oven 1 hour.
5. Remove from oven; cool completely on baking sheets.
6. Remove meringues from paper; store in an airtight container at room temperature.
