2008 - Candied Walnuts by

Ingredients
4 cups walnuts (roasted for 8 minutes)
1 1/4 butter
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Place butter, sugar, cinnamon and water in large microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 4 minutes, stirring once. Remove bowl, add walnuts and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir until begins to cool. Pour onto parchment paper. Spread nuts so they are not sticking together. After 20 minutes place in air tight container. Travels well.
