Sour Cream Cookies (Peterson) by Kraus Family

Ingredients

2 c. sugar 1 c. shortening 1 c. sour cream 3 eggs 1 t. vanilla 1 t. baking soda 1 T. baking powder 1 t. salt Flour

Instructions

Cream together sugar and shortening. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt and about 3 c. flour. Add to wet ingredients then add enough more flour to make a soft dough. Roll out like biscuits and cut into shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

One half-recipe makes three dozen 3" diameter cookies.
