Home Made Green Chili by
Ingredients
2 lb pork or beef (Cubed)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp flour
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 Cup chopped green chile (fresh or canned)
2 C water
Instructions
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a saucepan over low heat
Add onion and cook until transparent
Add meat and seasonings - brown over medium heat until cooked
Stir in green chile and water - bring to a boil
In a separate skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil over low heat, add flour to make a roux
Stir roux until golden brown, add to sauce
Cover and simmer over low heat 10-20 minutes
