Beef Gyros by Sarea Clark

Ingredients

24 oz. Cooked Beef, sliced 1/4" thick 2 TBS Vegetable Oil 4 Onions, thinly sliced *2 tsp. Garlic Salt 1/2 tsp. Dried Oregano 8 Pitas, warmed 2 Small Tomatoes, chopped *Reduce to 1 tsp. if using deli sliced beef.

Instructions

Cut beef into 1" strips and reserve. Heat oil for 2 minutes. Add onions, cook 2 minutes, add beef strips, garlic, salt and oregano. Cook 4 minutes stirring occasionally.

Combine:
1 C. Plain Yogurt
1/2 C. Cucumbers, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. Dill Weed

Place equal amounts of mixture, yogurt sauce and tomatoes into each pita pocket and serve.
