Sausage and Corn Chowder by Powell family recipe book

Ingredients

1 lb Pork Sausage 1 C chopped onions 4 C peeled and cubed potatoes 2 C water 1 tsp salt 1 tsp marjoram pepper to taste 1 17 oz can whole kernel corn 1 17 oz can creamed corn 1 12 oz can evaporated milk

Instructions

Brown sausage and onion, drain on paper towels. Put sausage mixture, potatoes, water, salt, marjoram, and pepper in a big pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Add the corn and evaporated milk, heat all the way thru. The longer it simmers/heats at the end, the thicker the chowder becomes.
