Creamy Lemon Merangue Pie (Lucille) by cpeirson

Ingredients

1 deep dish frozen pie crust, baked 3 eggs separated 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 c lemon juice 1/4 t cream of tartar 1/3 c sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Beat egg yolks, stir in lemon juice and milk. Pour into pie crust. Beat egg whites until stiff, add cream of tartar and sugar slowly. Spread merangue on top and bake 15 minutes until brown.
