Moms Hamburgers by
Ensure tomatoes and onions are sliced very thin; lightly salt tomato slices.
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
salt
pepper
lettuce
tomato
onion (purple)
dill pickels
mustard/mayo 50/50 mix
hamburger buns
crisco
Instructions
Using a paper towel, coat a cast iron skillet with some crisco and put on stove at med/high heat.
make 4 patties with the ground beef, salt and pepper, press well and make flat.
once patties are browned on each side, press firmly with spatula; drain pan if excess grease. put sliced cheese on patties then place bottom of buns on patties and let warm. Once bottoms are warm, place tops in and lightly press with spatula to toast. flip over for few seconds to finish warming bun tops.
assemble and eat.
