Chocolate Chip Meringues by

You can customize the meringues with different add ins.
Ingredients
2 large egg whites
1/2 C granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 T cocoa powder
1/2 to 1 C add-ins: mini chocolate chips, finely chopped nuts, etc.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375.
Cover two cookie sheets with parchment paper or foil. If you're using foil, coat it with nonstick cooking spray.
Beat the egg whites until they hold stiff peaks. Beat in sugar 1 T at a time, then beat in vanilla. Beat in cocoa powder. Fold in add-ins.
Drop mix by rounded tablespoon one inch apart on baking sheets. Place in the oven and turn off the heat. Cookies will be ready after two hours.
Store in an airtight tin.
