Ingredients

Butter Flour Salt Sugar Shortening Ice water --can make 1-2 days ahead --can freeze up to 6 mo

Instructions

Food process:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon sugar

Add and coat and pulse:
12 T very cold cubed butter
1/3 c. very cold vegetable shortening

Add and pulse:
6 to 8 T ice water

Form, lightly knead, wrap in plastic, chill 30 min.
