Fruit Crumble by
I made up this recipe after topping some fruit with my homemade granola. I loved it right from the get go and won't be changing this recipe at all. YUM!!
Ingredients
Fruit - I used apples and blueberries
Half a cup of coconut
Half a cup of sliced/slivered almonds
2tbsp sunflower seeds
2tbsp pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup of macadamias - chopped
1/4 cup of hazelnut meal
1 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp of vanilla essence
Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to around 180 degrees.
Cut up the apples into small pieces and cook in a pan or pot using a little bit of water. Add in the blueberries once the apples are nearly cooked. Once the fruit is cooked add it to an oven safe dish.
Once this is done, mix the dry ingredients, coconut, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, macadamias , hazelnut meal, cinnamon and coconut sugar.
Melt coconut oil and honey and then add the vanilla.
Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and then sprinkle this on top of the fruit.
Pop in an oven for around 15 minutes.
