Strawberries in the Snow by
Ingredients
1/2 large angel food cake
4 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 pint of strawberries ( fresh ) sliced and sugared or 16 oz. pkg. frozen , sliced, strawberries , thawed
Instructions
1. Cut cake into " 1 " slices and layer across bottom of 9 x 13 " pan ( I used glass )
2. Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Stir in whipping cream. Beat until mixture forms stiff peaks. ( with blender )
3. Pour some of the strawberry juice onto cake. Cover cake with whipped topping. Spread topping, letting some juice penetrate the topping. Chill and serve.
Serves 6-8.
