Tomato Sauce (Cathy) by
Ingredients
5-6 diced tomatoes
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
1/2 t sugar
4-5 basil leaves, torn into pieces
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1) Cook all the ingredients in a covered sauce pan @3 hrs
2) Let cool
3) Puree
4) Return to sauce pan and cook (uncovered) down to desired consistency
