Peach Brown Betty by
Ingredients
1 share Veggie Box peaches, peeled and sliced ¼” thick
Juice of ½ lemon
¾ cup flour
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
⅛ tsp allspice
⅛ tsp salt
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9” ceramic pie plate or casserole dish. Toss peaches with lemon juice and add to bottom of the dish. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Slowly stir in melted butter to make a clumpy dough. Sprinkle the dough over the peaches in the dish. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy on top.
