Candied Sweet Potatoes by Patty Mueller

Ingredients

6 sweet potatoes or yams 1cup brown sugar 1/4 cup butter Ground cinnamon Ground cloves 1/2chopped walnuts 2 cups miniature Marshmellows

Instructions

Cut sweet potatoes into 2in. Chunks. Cover & boil 30 min. Drain . Put potatoes in a greased baking dish & sprinkle with brown sugar & walnuts, if using. Sprinkle top with generous amount of cinnamon & dash of cloves. Dot top with butter. Bake at 350 for 20 min. Sprinkle with Marshmellows & bake 10 more min.
Serves 8 to 10
