Joy's Chocolate Crackles by

Ingredients
• 4 squares (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
• ½ cup salad oil
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 eggs, unbeaten
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup powdered sugar (about)
Instructions
Melt chocolate in top of large double boiler or mixing bowl over hot water.
Remove from water and blend in oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder and salt, stir into chocolate mixture. Chill the soft dough several hours or overnight.
Drop tsp of dough into powdred sugar. Roll around and shape into balls.
Bake on greased baking sheets at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
