Haystack Onion Rings by
Ingredients
Large onion
2 cups of milk \ mix
1 egg / together
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt
oil
Instructions
Slice onion VERY thin. Place in baking dish and cover with milk/egg mixture. Soak for at least 1 hour.
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Heat oil.
Grab handful of onions, throw into flour mixture, tap to shake off excess and PLUNGE into hot oil. Fry for a few minutes and remove when golden brown.
Repeat until onion is gone.
