Ground Cherry Jam by Monte

Montes Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups ground cherry's 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon water 1 package surejell 1 tbsp butter 4 cups Sugar

Instructions

Husk and wash groundcherry's
Boil jars and lids
In a saucepan, mix ground cherry's, lemon juice, surejell and water.
Bring to rapid boil
add butter and sugar. Boil for 1 more minute.
Poor into sterile jars. Cover with sterile lids and rings.
Process 10 minutes. Remove from water bathe and let cool on towel.
