Apple Pie Filling in a jar by

Ingredients
4 1/2 C sugar
1 C cornstarch
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 Tbsp lemon juice
6 quarts apples, packed
Instructions
In large saucepan, blend in first four ingredients. Stir in 11 cups of water. Cook and stir until thick. Add lemon juice. Pack apples into hot jars, leaving 1" head space. Fill with hot syrup, leaving 1/2" head space. Cook 20 minutes in hot water bath.
