Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake by cpeirson

Ingredients

Cake: 1 yellow cake mix 1 egg 1 stick butter, melted Filling: 1 8oz cream cheese, softened 1 15oz can pumpkin (or 2 ripe bananas OR a can of drained crushed pineapple OR 1 c peanut butter) 3 eggs 1 t vanilla 1 stick butter, melted 1 16oz box powdered sugar 1 t cinnamon 1 t nutmeg whipped cream

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350. Combine cake mix, egg and butter and mix well with an elect mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9" pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add , vanilla and butter ad beat together. Next add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix well. Spread over the cake batter and bake 40-50 min. Do not over bake and the center should be a little gooey.

Serve with whipped cream.
