Taste of Home Caramel Icing by Wanda Dickson

Use with Taste of Home Buttermilk Cake.

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter(cubed and softened) 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream 1 cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar and cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool for 5-10 minutws. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cake.
