Date Pinwheels by
Ingredients
1/2 pound butter (very soft)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 brown sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
3 cups flour
1 pound dates
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Sift salt, soda and flour together and add to other mixture. Roll out dough and spread date mixture over it and roll up in big roll. Freeze then cut in slices and bake in hot oven 375 to 400.
