Cilantro Chutney by Allen Neighborhood Center

Ingredients

OPTION ONE 1 cup Veggie Box cilantro leaves, chopped with hard stems removed 1-2 green chilis to taste, chopped 1 inch ginger, chopped 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder 1/4 tsp chaat masala (optional) 1 tsp lemon juice 1-2 tsp water 1/4 teaspoon sugar Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a blender or chutney grinder, add the chopped coriander leaves, chopped ginger and green chilis. Add lemon juice, cumin, and salt as required. You can add chaat masala at this step if you have it. Add water and blend or grind all the ingredients until smooth. Taste the chutney and add more salt or lemon juice if needed. Keep refrigerated or freeze, and use as needed.
