Caramel Brownies-Caramel Chocolate Chew Bars by Monte

Ingredients

1 German chocolate cake mix 3/4 C butter, melted 2/3 C evaporated milk 1 16 oz package caramels 1 C chocolate chips

Instructions

Mix cake mix, butter, and 1/3 C evaporated milk. Put half of mixture in 9x13 cake pan. Bake 10 min at 350*. In saucepan, melt caramels in other 1/3 C evaporated milk. When cake is done, sprinkle chocolate chips over cake and drizzle with melted caramel mixture. Put remaining cake batter on top of caramel and return to oven for 15-20 minutes.

*If cake mix seems to thick, add a little evaporated milk.
