Ingredients
For the pears
6 firm pears halved or quartered
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the crumb topping
⅔ cups rolled oats
1 T coconut oil
2 T coconut sugar
1 T maple syrup

Instructions
For the pears
Throw all the ingredients in the crock pot and cook on high for the first hour and then turn to back to low for at least 3-4 hours. This only gets better the longer you cook it.
For the next step, you can place the pears in an 8X8 glass baking dish.
Take some of the liquid from the crock pot and add it to the pears.
For the crumb topping
Preheat oven to 350.
In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and pulse until the oats are sticking together.
Sprinkle the mixture on top of the pears.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
