Sugar Cookies by
Ingredients
1/2 cup oleo
1 egg
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Blend oleo, egg, and sugar till fluffy. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Chill dough (do not eat, pop), and wrap in saran wrap. Roll dough and cut into preferred shapes. Sprinkle top with colored sugar. Place cookies on ungreased sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes. Note from Gil: If you prefer, omit sugar topping. May be frosted after baking. Let cool, (if you can wait).
